Review by hotel critic
My stay at La Galba was pleasant yet somewhat overpriced. The rooms were indeed spacious and well-lit, with clean parquet floors and a lovely view. However, the lack of free toiletries and the absence of garden furniture made the luxury aspect a bit lacking. The option for off-site car parking was convenient, although the public areas' free Wi-Fi was a bit spotty. The hosts were warm and welcoming, offering us a choice of rooms, which was a nice touch. The location near the village square was ideal for exploration, and the breakfast was fresh and appetizing. On the downside, the no-smoking policy and the restriction on pets may be off-putting for some guests. While the hospitality was outstanding, the value for money may not align with the level of luxury expected.
